Testimonials
What our customers think when all is said and done is the most important part of our job. We want you to feel as though you got top value from Vast Improvements, LLC. We value our customer's reaction and they truly are what's important to us.

"Remarkable is the word I would use to describe the renovations done by Vast Improvements at my parent’s house located on Miller Street in Trenton New Jersey.
Even more than that, the support given to me by Kathleen and John Gafgen as I was faced with many quick decisions, lightened my load tremendously and helped me through the process. Besides doing construction work, Vast Improvements served as my moving company, interior decorator and assistant is running important errands and handling paperwork in the Trenton area. While not underestimating the amazing tasks listed above, the project stayed on schedule and budget. I would not hesitate to recommend or use the services of Vast Improvements for future endeavors."

"I would highly recommend Kathleen Gafgen and her business Vast
Improvements as the solution to the challenges you are likely facing in
preparing your home for sale.  I faced the biggest challenge of my life
last year in selling an 80+ year old home that my mother could no
longer care for after living in it for 55 years.  The home was in
Hamilton and I live in San Antonio, TX.   After two meetings with
Kathleen . . . I was convinced it could be done and done correctly.
Kathleen and John embodied the word TRUST in all their business
dealings with me.  What I learned in working with Kathleen was that
when she committed to making a repair, prepping the home for a showing,
organizing the daunting task of clearing the personal property from the
home and most importantly ensuring its readiness for inspections or the
final walk through by the buyers, each detail was executed
professionally and incredibly, not only on time, but often ahead of
schedule.
I am a former military aviator . . . when I think of Kathleen and John's
handling of my affairs last year, the word that resonates is TRUST. "

" Because of health factors my Mother could no longer live in her home and we had to put the house on the market.  Because I was living in Connecticut, I was at a disadvantage as to the best way to go through the process of getting the house ready to put it on the market.  Although my folks had the house built and lived in it for over 35 years, there were many items that had to be repaired and updated.  Many due to building code changes and items that inspectors were sure to red flag.   I needed someone that was trustworthy, knew the business, communicated well, did things in a timely manner, got me professional results and did it at a fair and reasonable cost.  This is where Kathleen came in to the picture.  When all things were said and done, my previous statement IS Kathleen's professional profile.  She did what she said she would do.  She understands state and local building codes and because of this she anticipated all of the possible problem areas and fixed them prior to inspection.  In a few situations she went out, got quotes and was able to get me the most professional (and least costly) subcontractor possible.  The smaller items she did herself.  She truly worked as my agent and I believe saved me considerable dollars without the possible headaches. I was also very pleased with the payment arrangement.  I gave her a deposit for anticipated material, a work in progress payment, and a final payment after the house was inspected.  Trust was the name of the game and she came through with flying colors.
This experience was truly a win-win situation and I would highly recommend Kathleen."
